BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

Attendees:   Dan Meade, Sharon Walker, Richard Grieves, Howard Koester, Steve Shanklin, Dave Armitage, Mike Morgan and Christine Whitehurst.  Guests, 13 SBCA members (attachment) and staff.

 

Meeting called to order at 9:00 a.m. by President Dan Meade.

 

 Determination of quorum.

 

MSP to approve October 2, 2009 minutes. (All ayes)

 

Community Input:

Larry Scott presented the annual report for the Trails Committee; their request for $1000 has already been budgeted and approved.

 

Financial report

Chris Whitehurst reported the financial highlights for September, showing the Total Current Assets for the month to be $314,672.14, Total Assets to be $578,696.04 with an increase of $45,489.31 over last year’s Total Assets. The Income Statement for September 2009 showed total revenues of $4,556.78 and Total Operating Expenses of $29,893.30 and a Net Operating Surplus of $4,086.74 for the fiscal year. The Maintenance reserve is $197,405.67 and the Renovation Fund is $75,510.92  

MSP to approve the financial report. (All ayes)

 

Correspondence:

1.    Inner Harbor regarding their pond.

MSP to pay $200 now and study pond use to determine equitable contribution percentage. (5 ayes)

2.    Watson regarding non-member charges.

3.    Oxtons regarding the drainage district.
