SBCA ARC MINUTES
June 15th, 2007
Homeowner’s comments regarding specific issues:
Ernest Oxton has an interest in trees on common lands in Teal Lake. He had sent a report to the Village Board and was hoping that this would be on the agenda. This report has not yet arrived here at SBCA ARC. A tree in the common area is very close to their home. They have no desire to down the tree or remove it, but simply to cut dead limbs and branches Clean it up, not cut down. Linda Colasurdo to talk with Tom Kingston after he has discussed the topic at their Village Board meeting. This can be decided by the Teal Lake Village board and may not even need to come to the SBCA Board as this is a maintenance issue.

New Business: SBCA common area tree removal
Several Hemlocks around the building are diseased; several alders need to be removed. SBCA requested a visit by the committee before applying for a permit to remove some of these trees before they damage the Bay Club. The SBCA intends to keep the big cedars and fir trees. The SBCA will hire an arborist to write report on the marked trees.
Building permits – Jefferson County -hot tub installation
Residents need to be aware that Jefferson county permits may be necessary as well as SBCA ARC permits for such items as hot tubs, decks over a certain height, etc. Refer to Jefferson 2007 Building Code .
Weaver - was confirmed that the 2nd extension permit be granted until Sept 30th
After reviewing original blueprints and considering what adaptations there have been to these plans,
it was suggested a letter be written requesting, once again, a landscape plan for the area that has been renovated, that the propane tank be painted green, and a reassessment of project completion be given to the SBCA ARC.
Linda to share letters with ARC members before being sent out.
Workshop for shoreline landowners – free - Tuesday Jun 26 from 1:30 – 4:00 pm or from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Cape George Colony Club house. Topics to include: shoreline planting, tree trimming, etc
