All three of these
applications are conforming to the comprehensive plan for the village,
the arborist report and the geo-tech report; most of the trees to be removed are
alders; the arborist
recommended 25% removal annually gradually (part of the Windrose Hill Vegetation
Plan)
The area just above
the detention pond where the slope is
much steeper is an area of concern;
the root structure would stay until some replanting can be done. Mr. Rozelle’s
objection
that Village funds are being used was noted. Village will notify SBCA ARC
members of
proposed date of cutting, marked trees. County permit has been applied for.
Oversight
by Village rep. will occur.
Conditions that must be met::
Follow the village plan, subject to county permit (three copies 0ne for each
applicant)
the trees be marked and a phone call made to the SBCA ARC re date and time,
with oversight by Village rep
