December 2008 minutes. (all ayes)
Homeowners’ concerns:
Simeon raised the
question of design standards 5.1.14 referring to exterior lighting “one exterior
light with photo cell…plan”. He will notify block captains to encourage the
lights be on by writing letter as a courtesy to the neighborhood and include a
variety of options if current photocell not functioning. This will be raised at
the Village Board level, then letter to block captains, etc.
New Applications:
09-001-Timberton – Black - complaint
MSP that the correspondence from Mr. Black be acknowledged (all ayes)
It has been determined
that this is not a SBCA ARC issue, based on 5.5 of the CC & R’s. The
recommendation to Mr. Black from the SBCA ARC is that Timberton Village retains
a geotech report on all the hillsides in the Village. TVHA board is to complete

New Business: Drainage district, ponds and the
villages
Tom McCay recently chaired a meeting on this topic. He is currently
studying both the Storm Water
Ordinance and the revised Shoreline Management Program. There is an
opportunity to get professional
management of our storm water, which would take the burden off the
Villages
He queried whether the Drainage district in this area will be an issue for
SBCA ARC with respect to our forms etc. This meeting was to provide information,
not to make a decision. There will be a need in the future in order to
comply with state and federal agencies since the water must be cleaned up. Tom
will be in contact with county officials for further information. Perhaps a
committee could study the impacts of both regulations, be more informative, do
some education, and get the villages to understand potential issues and costs.
Villages could join individually. Voting will take place only in even years-
2110 o r 2012.
