SBCA ARC Committee Monthly Meeting Minutes for August 18, 2006          Approved

 Meeting called to order at 9:00 a.m.

 Minutes of last meeting approved with a motion from A. Andersen that the following be included

Under New Applications: 06-079-Woodridge-Killmer-complaint:   “This is not an ARC issue. The Killmers appealed the ARC’s decision of 14 Nov 2005 to the SBCA Board, and on 11Jan 06 the Board reached an agreement with the Killmers and their attorney.  If the Killmers are unable to resolve the issue of the Shepherd’s trees obstructing their view (under the criteria the Board set) with the Shepherds, then the Killmers need to go back to the Board – not to the ARC – for resolution”

                                                     An article to be sent to The Voice outlining the rules regarding signs and outdoor fires.
                                                     A letter will be sent to both parties (Miller and Watson) outlining the regulations re posting     of signs within the MPR

L. Colasurdo to send a letter to the lawyer stating the ARC will accept the variance if the owners can both agree. The SBCA ARC will also send a letter to the lawyer stating that a letter will be sent to the builder asking him to legally clarify the lot line issue, and if that fails, the SBCA attorney, R. Shattuck, will deal with issue.

After considerable study of documents and informative discussion, it was decided that ARC members make a “field trip” to examine the area under discussion to view the trees, the slope and that D Ullman of the Trails Committee be invited to join the expedition. The ARC will meet again with the group of homeowners at a date and time coordinated by L. Colasurdo within 2 weeks.

                                                             many of the permit applications.
