Old Business:
It was reported that we had 17 trees removed at a price of $500. A report was given by Jim that to hook up to electrical at this time would be cost prohibitive. It has been put on hold in hopes that when the new system is put in at the golf course that we will be able to hook up at that time. There are a couple of options with the new system. For the time being, a blower can be checked out from the Bay Club when needed to blow off the courts, when needed.
New Business:
Plans for the Spring Spruce-Up Party were discussed. Ralph will take a look at the courts in late April and make a decision about what needs to be done to the courts for our early May work party. A decision will also be made about lightly pressure washing the courts or washing them with a solution of Clorox and water. We decided that we would offer tennis lessons again with Round Robin play beginning in May and continuing through August, every Saturday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. I will be responsible for putting something in the Voice in March, April and May regarding this activity.
Potential Court Improvement Projects: (prioritized)
1. Drainage Trench/PVC Piping
2. Practice Board
3. Electrification
4. Parking Lot Expansion/Improvements
5. Bathrooms. (Jim will look into the possibility and pricing of putting in a Port-A-Potty at the site)
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 4:15 p.m.
